Day 1 — 15 minutes
Submit the free-estimate form, send photos by text, or call us directly. For handyman work we quote on the call; for remodels we book a 30-minute in-home consultation within 48 hours. No high-pressure sales, no upsells.
Walkthrough
Day 2–3 — 45–90 minutes
A senior estimator (often the same project manager who will run your job) visits your home. We measure every wall, photograph existing conditions, discuss material and finish options, and check for the gotchas Chicagoland homes are famous for — knob-and-tube, lath-and-plaster, undersized panels, lead-paint disclosure thresholds.
Proposal
Day 4–5
You receive an itemized, line-by-line proposal with a clear price for every line of work — demo, framing, plumbing rough-in, electrical, drywall, paint, tile, cabinets, countertops, fixtures, dumpster, permits, and clean-up. No change-order surprises: if we missed something, we eat the cost.
Build
Week 1 through completion
Once you sign, our coordinator orders all materials, pulls every required municipal permit (Wilmette, Winnetka, Glencoe, Highland Park, Northbrook, Arlington Heights, Chicago, etc.), and schedules every trade. Our W-2 craftsmen handle framing, electrical, plumbing, drywall, paint, flooring, tile, cabinetry, and trim — one team, one accountability.
Closeout
Final week
We walk the entire project with you, build a punch list of any details to address, and resolve every item within 5 business days. On closing day, you receive your written 1-year workmanship warranty covering every installed component plus manufacturer warranty registration on appliances, fixtures, and windows.
